Returns, Made Simple Pull up the original sale, and let Rundoo fill in the rest 2:20

Returns, Made Simple: pull up the original sale and Rundoo fills in the details, so a receipted return takes seconds.

No Receipt, No Problem Handle exchanges and no-receipt returns right at the register 4:20

No Receipt, No Problem: when there's no original sale to link, ring up an unlinked return, unlock the refund with a sale note, turn it into an exchange, and send the money back the right way.

Set Your Starting Cash Tell Rundoo the cash you keep in the drawer, so every close-out balances 2:13

Set Your Starting Cash: set each register's starting cash float in the admin settings, so the day begins from a known number and every end-of-day close-out lines up.

Counting Down the Drawer Log petty cash and close out the till at the end of the day 3:13

Counting Down the Drawer: log the cash you pull out as petty cash, count down the drawer at close, handle the normal small variance and the cash refund that trips people up, and head home with the numbers balanced.

Waive the Late Fee Void a finance charge so it comes right off a customer's balance 1:25

Waive the Late Fee: when you want to give a customer a break, find the finance charge, void it, and it drops straight off their balance. One note, it can come back on the next statement.

Two Ways to Pay Take part of a sale on one payment method and the rest on another 1:38

Two Ways to Pay: when a customer wants to put part on a check and the rest in cash, use Split Payment under the Sale button, and the receipt shows both payments.

Void It Clean Cancel an unpaid charge-account sale before any money changes hands 1:51

Void It Clean: find the charge sale under Completed, open it, click Void, add a reason and put the items back on the shelf. It moves to your Voided tab. You can only void a charge sale.

Credit Where It's Due Put a goodwill credit on a loyal customer's account 2:09

Credit Where It's Due: to thank a loyal customer, head to Receivables, Payments, enter the credit amount and check Credit to add. A missing note shows a red border. Choose Write off to record why, and the credit lands on their account. It is a goodwill gesture, not real debt.

We Can Get That Special-order any item, take a deposit, and close it out at pickup 4:46

We Can Get That: when a customer wants something you don't stock, flag the product as special orderable, then put the customer and product on a ticket. Decide how much of a deposit to take, collect it, and print the receipt. Place the order with your vendor, and when it comes in and they pick up, take the final payment.

Products 8 videos
Finding Products Fast Type, scan, or look up any product in seconds 2:55

Finding Products Fast: type a few letters, scan a barcode, or look up any product in seconds so the line keeps moving.

Four Fields to Sell It Add a new product and get it ready for the shelf 3:33

Four Fields to Sell It: a new shipment landed and you need it in the system. Hit Add product and fill just four fields to make an item sellable, set a price so it doesn't ring up at zero, then add a cost, a vendor, and a starting count. Rundoo blocks a duplicate primary ID, and Save and edit opens the full settings page when you want to add more.

How Many Do I Have? Check a product's stock, history, and reorder points 3:04

How Many Do I Have: open a product to see exactly where you stand. The History tab is the whole story, every count, sale, and receipt, and you can see stock by location plus on hand, on order, and committed. Set a min and max so Rundoo reorders for you, and fix an on-hand count right there when the shelf and the screen disagree.

Price It Your Way Set each tier by dollar, margin, or discount, and add volume breaks 5:52

Price It Your Way: open a product's pricing tab and read the grid at a glance. Set your retail price straight by the dollar, work up from your cost with a margin, or take a discount and round it clean. Your other tiers follow tier rules, add a volume break so bulk buyers get a better price, and set a custom price for one specific customer.

Pricing by the Group Build a tier, set the rule, and let each customer ring up at their price 4:49

Pricing by the Group: give different customers different prices without doing the math every time. See what a pricing tier really is and where tiers live, with Tier 1 Retail as your default. Build a rule-based tier, like 15% off all Benjamin Moore, and Rundoo always rings the lowest price. Put a customer on the tier, set it once, and it rings right every time.

Make It Behave Set how a product is taxed, categorized, and rung up at the counter 2:41

Make It Behave: open a product and go to Settings to decide how it acts. Fill in product info and extra IDs, sort it by department, class, and fineline, and add a fee if it needs one. Set its tax status or mark it single-use, flip the non-stock switch for things you do not count, and leave notes or a sale reminder for the counter.

Tags on the Shelf Print price labels and bin tags, one or a whole batch 3:46

Tags on the Shelf: keep the right price in front of every customer. Print just one label when a single price changes, run a whole batch when a shipment lands, or print everything on the screen at once. Filter down to a whole department when you are refreshing a section, and learn the one option you will reach for most.

Design Your Own Label Build a shelf tag with the fields, sizes, and look you want 4:13

Design Your Own Label: every store has its own look, so open the Custom Label Designer and make the shelf tag yours. Match the size to your real labels or set a custom size, turn on just the fields you want, move them around and make them bigger, and make the name bold. Save once, and it is ready for every cashier to print at the counter.

Setup 8 videos
Open a House Account Add a customer and set them up to charge on their tab 2:52

Open a House Account: add a new customer with just a phone and name, set their pricing tier, then turn them into a charge account in Settings. Change the finance term to Net 30, set a credit limit, and they are on the books and ready to charge on their tab.

Their History, Their Balance See what a customer bought and what they still owe 2:26

Their History, Their Balance: when a customer calls asking what they bought or what they owe, pull up their account. The Transactions tab shows their whole history, filterable by job, PO, or date range, and you can send a summary on the spot. Contractors with a house account also get a Balance tab with aging, history, and statements.

Track It by Job Keep a contractor's projects separate on one account 2:33

Track It by Job: when a contractor has several projects running, open their Jobs tab and add a job, each with its own job ID. Tag each sale to a job right at the counter, and anything without a job just lands on their main account. Totals roll up per job, and you can close out a job once it's finished.

The VIP Treatment Assign a rep, keep notes, and set a customer's own price 3:06

The VIP Treatment: give your best customers white-glove service. On a customer's Relationship tab, assign them a point of contact and keep notes your whole team can see, then set them their own custom price that rings up automatically at the counter.

Set It Once Tune a customer's contacts, checkout rules, and tax so every sale rings right 3:43

Set It Once: open a customer's Settings tab to tune how they check out. Add contacts and pick who gets statements, keep a card or bank account on file, set a pricing tier and a reminder note, require a PO at checkout, or make them tax exempt. Each section saves on its own, so their whole account is set once.

Set Up a Supplier Add a vendor and set where your orders get sent 2:26

Set Up a Supplier: bringing on a new supplier takes a minute. Find Vendors, click Add Vendor, and all Rundoo needs to start is the name, then Save or Save and edit to add more. Make the Pay to name match your books, point the Orders email at where your POs should go, choose whether to attach the PO, and keep your rep on as a contact.

One Spreadsheet, Big Changes Export, edit, and import to update hundreds of records at once 4:33

One Spreadsheet, Big Changes: when you need to change hundreds of products at once, filter first, then download the spreadsheet. Make your edit across every row but never touch the Token column, save, and import the file back in. The confirmation box shows exactly what changes before you commit, with a safety net if you slip up. Same rhythm for customers and vendors.

The Back Office Set up your company, your locations, and your staff, once 5:21

The Back Office: step in to set the foundation your whole store runs on. Fill in your company's big-picture details, choose how you see margins with cost management, and set the tender methods customers pay with. Set up each location, where customer emails land, cash drawers, and out-of-town delivery taxes. Then add your staff and set permissions, including who holds the master key.
