Tintable Products

If a product is set to “Tintable,” when it is added to a transaction, the “Tint” prompt will appear to add searchable or custom color information.

How to turn on the Tintable Setting

1. Go to Products > Individual Product > Settings

   

2. Scroll to the Checkout section of the product. Toggle on (or off!) the “Tintable” setting

   

How to send ColorX tinted products to a New sale

1. Open up Rundoo to the new sale page and you should see “X tinted products” beneath the “Search and add product” box. Click the blue “# tinted products” as seen in the screenshot below.

   

2. Select the corresponding tinted product and click “Add to sale”:

   

How to add a tintable product to a sale

Search for the product normally if the Setting is switched on you’ll receive an additional pop-up in the New Transactions process when adding a tintable product as seen in the screenshot below.

To make a product tintable on Rundoo, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the product settings in Rundoo⁠9⁠
2. Find the "Settings" tab for the product you want to make tintable⁠9⁠
3. Look for an option to "make the product tintable" and enable it⁠9⁠
4. Once a product is set as tintable:
   1. When you add it to a Sale, Rundoo will prompt you for additional details about the tint⁠⁠
   2. You can then input information such as the color formula or other tint-related details⁠⁠
