This Rundoc covers the recommended protocol for handling mistints.

What is a mistint? A paint that is tinted the wrong color (from the perspective of the person who originally ordered the paint in a certain color).

Mistints that are not to be resold/did not sell.

What can you do when there’s a mistint?

You can write off the mistint using a Store Account (more info here).

1. Within Sales —> Enter Store Account —> Enter tinted products —> Edit the price to $0.00 —> Save —> Enter optional “Sales notes” —> Charge to Account

Mistints re-sold.

The process stays the same; add the product to the sale as normal and adjust the price at the time of sale
