Introduction

One of the things we pride ourselves on here at Rundoo is our ability to transfer data seamlessly from your old system to your new system. That being said, we want to acknowledge that not two systems are alike and your data comes with its own unique quirks and challenges.

The goal of this guide is to walk you through checking the first pass of your data for any issues so the Rundoo team can fix them before you Go-Live. This is hugely important to the go-live process because we want to catch issues and errors before they cause a problem.

Things you should check

Customers

Look through your top 5 customers and validate the following information:

• Customer details
  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone number
• Sales
  • Sales Notes
  • Purchase Orders
  • Totals
• Charge/Credit Accounts
  • Remaining Balance
  • Financial Terms
  • Financial Interest

Products

Look through your top products by category, including:

• Paint (Benjamin Moore, PPG, etc)
• Sundries (AllPro, Lancaster, etc)
• Other miscellaneous (Orgill, Festool, etc)

Make sure to verify the following information:

• Pricing Tiers
• Inventory Amount,
  • Bin Locations
  • Store Locations
• Product Name
• Primary Identifiers (Product number, Part No, Vendor No.) Max: 1
  • Secondary/Additional Identifiers (UPCs, nicknames, shorthand) Max: 12
