This Rundoc provides instructions for setting up staff members and defining permissions on the Rundoo system. Please note, Setting up Staff and Permissions is only possible for users with Admin access.
Step 1: Create New Staff
- Within Admin, Click on Staff

- Select “Add new staff member”

- Enter their name, login code, email, and phone number.
- Their login code can be the staff member’s initials, e.g. “AC”. Please note that repeat initials are not allowed, so we suggest adding digits, e.g. “AC2” or middle initials, “ABC”.
- The email address can be a dummy email address and not personal emails.
- The phone number needs to be the staff member’s cell phone number so they can receive login codes via text message.
- When you’re finished, hit Next.

Step 2: Set Permissions
- You can select permissions using the checkboxes.

Step 3: Edit and Deactivate Staff
- Click on the name of the staff member you would like to modify.

- You can choose between Permissions and General Settings using the tabs at the top.

- Under general, you can modify the staff member’s information and deactivate them.

Setting up Keys for the Staff
Ensure you’re on the Admin side of Rundoo

Navigate to the Staff section

Select “Add key”

Select “Set up key”

If this menu pop up select “Security Key” then Next

Select “Ok”

Apply the key to your NFC reader

and you’re done!
