Setting up your barcode scanner to run a Computer

1. Get your scanner. Please identify the brand and model of your scanner. If you do not have any scanners please refer to our Links to Order Hardware.

2. Configure it to have a “|” on either side. Locate your scanner in the list below go to the link and print and follow the instructions in order on the document. If you don’t see your scanner in the lists below please reach out to support for assistance!

Setting up your scanner to work with a Mobile Device, Tablets, and Phones

Print the Guide below and follow the steps to connect your scanner to your mobile device, your Scanner will still need to be connected to a power source via USB to charge the scanner.

My Scanner isn’t working?

My Scanner beeps three times when scanning but nothing happens in Rundoo.

• Please scan the barcode that is attached to the base, this can happen if the barcode scanner was mixed with another base or was out of range and was disconnected.

My Scanner beeps four times after scanning something.

• Please remove the battery wait 10 seconds and replace it back into the scanner.

You may have readers you want to use without getting a new one. While we don’t officially support any others, many others can work! You can find guides for setting up many other readers here.
