This Rundoc discusses quantity breaks and how to configure them within the Rundoo POS.
A quantity break is a pricing strategy where the price per unit decreases as the quantity of items purchased increases. This strategy encourages customers to purchase larger quantities in exchange for discounts.
At Rundoo, we can use quantity breaks to incentivize bulk purchases of your products. For example, if a customer buys one item, they pay the regular price. But if they buy ten items, they might get a 10% discount. This strategy can increase your overall sales and help us move inventory more quickly.
Within the Rundoo POS, select “Products” under Blocks in the Menu
Select products you typically sell in bulk.
Sometimes your products will use a separate UPC barcode (typically located on the box/packaging they originally arrived in) to indicate the product is being sold in bulk instead of an individual unit. To add the other UPC barcode we want to add the number to the additional identifiers
Select the “Settings” tab
Navigate to the “Product Information” section and input the UPC, then select “Add” and then select “Save”
Select the “Inventory and Pricing” tab
