Discounts

Example sale: 20% Regal Interior Select

Setup

1. Set up the promotion in the “Promotions” tab. Products > Promotions > Add Promotion

   

2. In the Add Promotions screen, add all relevant information. The example below references the 20% off Regal Interior Select example running in August!

   NOTE: The example below uses a rule-based promotion - meaning it applies to every product in the Regal Interior Select “Class”. If you do not have departments / classes / finelines set up, you will need to manually add the applicable products using the “Product” option (versus the “Rule” option).

   

   For this example, we’re using the “discount” option and referencing a 20% discount on the Retail tier.

   

Transaction

At the time of transaction, the discount will be applied to all customers for the date range created in the “Add Promotion” section. Example below

BOGO

Example sale: BOGO Coupon!

1. Create a new product called “BOGO [Product]”
2. Make it:
   1. have the coupon number in the “Additional IDs” field
   2. non-stock
   3. non-taxable
   4. $0 default cost and price

Transaction

1. Add the product being bought to a transaction; eg 054701-005 REGAL SELECT FLAT -WHITE
2. Add the the “BOGO [Product] to the transaction
3. Optional: Add a “Sales note” to the transaction that notes its part of the promotion; eg “Part of contractor BOGO coupon”
