💡 Use cycle counts regularly to minimize risk and reserve full counts for major resets.

🛠️ Starting a Count (Step-by-Step)

• Go to Inventory → Counts → New Count
• Select Cycle Count or Full Count
• Name your count (e.g. Vendor Name – Cycle 1)
• If cycle count: filter by vendor, category, or section
• Save → system generates list of items
• All included products start at zero until counted

📱 Using Mobile vs Desktop

• Desktop: Must manually mark as counted + save draft regularly!
• Mobile App: Auto-saves each item when counted; can scan barcodes for faster entry

✅ Best Practices & Tips

• Always mark items as counted + save your work
• Break counts (Cycle Count) into chunks (e.g. by vendor or section)
• If two people count at once, assign separate products/areas — otherwise, the last save will overwrite
  • If users count the same product, but count in different areas, this can lead to an overwrite, Ie, you have pain buckets on store shelves, and you store overflow in the back room.
  • You would want 1 person to count both the front and back of house inventory.
